Want your wedding or event to be the talk of the town? DJ Steve Allard is the man that can make that happen.

Steve Allard is well-known throughout California and was voted KCRA A-List Top 5 and “Best of Yuba Sutter.” With close to 34 years of experience working in the music industry, Steve’s popularity has grown to all parts of California. In October 2007, Steve was named DJ Superstar in a National DJ competition outperforming DJs from Chicago, Tennessee, Seattle, New York, and Arizona.

Steve possesses an amazing ability to grab the attention of audiences of all ages with his aura, smile, and friendly personality. He seems to quickly build rapport and motivate his audience to have a great time. In addition, Steve stands behind every performance and offers an unconditional money-back guarantee.

Steve started his career as a DJ in 1989. He was playing for a party, and one of the party-goers asked him about performing at a wedding. He had never DJ’ed at a wedding before but was willing to give it a try. At the end of his first wedding, he was asked by half a dozen people for his business card. And it grew from there.

Steve is not only a talented DJ, but he is also an active member of the community. During the stay-at-home order, he live-streamed music weekly on Facebook to keep everyone entertained. On one of those nights, Steve raised about $2,000 to purchase masks for our local nurses. The following week, he raised another $500 for the local food bank. About this experience, Steve said, “I’m always looking for ways to be involved in the community and bring joy through music.”

When we asked him if he had a fun story to share from one of his events, Steve shared this fun memory: “I had a played music for the wedding ceremony where the rings were left behind at the location where everyone got ready. The coordinator raced to grab the rings, and to make light of a very awkward moment, I played the theme song from Jeopardy, and everyone started to laugh. ‘Your DJ saved the day’ was the feedback I received from my bride. I’m most proud of adapting to any given situation and making it work for my clients and their guests.”

DJ Steve also had some excellent advice for those hosting an event or a wedding:

“Do your homework with any professional you hire. Look at their track record, reviews, speak with other clients, and most of all, trust the professionals you hire. There is a reason they are considered the best in the business.”

DJ Steve Allard has some great advice for couples choosing their wedding DJ and other vendors. Taking his advice will make your event really shine! When asked to dish about what would be important at his own event, Steve replied, “I would say music and sound are a big part of the wedding day, adding mood and ambiance. I know a DJ is responsible for 90% of the fun because of the music and when it’s played, and the volume it is delivered. A DJ must make adjustments on the fly based on what is currently happening during dinner and dancing. And lastly, I want my guests to be comfortable. Rain, extreme heat, or cold can really hamper your event. Lastly, relax and enjoy the day with family and friends. If things go off-script, it’s okay.”

Steve’s clients describe him as fun-loving, flexible, detailed, and able to read the crowd well. One of his clients, Kiersten, had this to say about Steve, “[He is] simply the BEST DJ of all time! Steve is absolutely amazing and wonderful to work with. We have hired him for several different events, from birthdays to weddings. This time was for my wedding, and as always, Steve did not disappoint. He and his son took care of everything from our ceremony music and mics to the cocktail hour to the reception until we all danced the night away. Steve had every song we requested for our ceremony/reception, even the Star Wars and instrumental Disney ones. Steve is somehow able to read the crowd and keep your event lively and fun! He is constantly adjusting the songs to suit the vibe and keep people constantly on the dancefloor. Our guests have raved about how much fun they had at our wedding, and I believe that is mostly in part to Steve. We couldn’t believe how many guests were still there at the end of the night for our sparkler send-off. Thank you, Steve, for your flexibility, attention to detail, musical knowledge, and your fun-loving nature to help make our dream wedding a reality.”
